I love people and always have. All of my life I have enjoyed meeting and getting to know all kinds of people. We are all unique and like to express ourselves in different ways which is what makes us so interesting.

During my career, I started to recognise that I was happiest when helping others. I started my health and wellbeing business back in the millennium year and have enjoyed helping thousands of people with their health.

Over the last ten years, I have experienced significant loss within my family and I wanted to celebrate those who had passed, in a way that was unique to them. Having spoken at their funerals, I decided to explore the role of a celebrant on a much deeper level. I enrolled with The Academy of Modern Celebrancy in the summer of 2022 and was thrilled to graduate as a funeral celebrant.

I began my journey at the very beginning of 2023 and have found it to be the most rewarding role I have ever undertaken. I feel that my own experience has helped me understand how families feel and how I can best help them at such a difficult time.

Losing a loved one is always a complicated and overwhelming experience. There are often many tasks to be done, and it can feel like the list is never-ending. As a funeral celebrant, I am here to help you through this difficult time. Whether you are sure how you want to celebrate your loved one’s life or don’t know where to start, I am here to support you. I will work with you to craft a personalised ceremony that pays tribute to your loved one and includes poems, readings, music, and meaningful memories. I will also coordinate with the venue and the funeral director on the day to ensure that everything is taken care of, giving you peace of mind.

At the beginning of 2024, I was asked to lead a family wedding in the summer of that year. I decided to return to the Academy and enrol on their wedding celebrancy course. Having graduated, I’m thrilled to have begun helping couples celebrate their love for each other by helping them plan their own bespoke ceremonies.

I will work closely with you to create a bespoke wedding ceremony that reflects your love story, incorporating personal elements such as vows, readings, and special rituals. I will liaise with your chosen venue and other vendors to ensure a seamless and unforgettable celebration.
